Green Legacy Hosting Plant Trial to Coincide With Cultivate’25

Green LegacyGreen Legacy, a family-owned greenhouse located in central Ohio specializing in annual bedding plants for garden centers and landscape contractors, will be hosting a plant trial this summer.

“Our goal is to use this trial to catapult our mission of beautifying the Midwest landscape market,” says Dan VanWingerden, owner of Green Legacy. “We want to build a program that centers around Cultivate each year. I believe there to be incredible opportunity for landscapers/retailers and breeders.”

The trial will feature 10,000 square feet for bedding plants, 1,320 square feet for raised beds, and a total trial garden area of 1 to 2 acres. VanWingerden says Green Legacy is targeting at least 30,000 plants for the trial gardens.

Green Legacy will be hosting a tour for Cultivate attendees on July 12, as well as a grand opening on Tuesday, July 15, allowing Cultivate attendees to visit as they depart Columbus.
