Josh Symons joins CoreLogic


CoreLogic has appointed Josh Symons as its new head of real estate solutions.

Mr Symons was formerly the director of product strategy and industry principal at PropTech, company MRI Software.

He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the property industry.

“I am thrilled to join CoreLogic during a period of accelerated digital transformation driven by AI and data,” he said.

“Real estate agents play a vital role in our communities, assisting everyday Australians to achieve their property aspirations.

“I’m particularly looking forward to collaborating with all industry stakeholders, from our clients to those in the proptech ecosystem, to advance the real estate industry.

“CoreLogic’s commitment to a customer-first approach is one of the reasons I’ve come on board.”

CoreLogic VP of Client Experience, Sarah Edwards, said Mr Symon’s appointment reiterated the PropTech’s commitment to prioritising agent and agency needs, including creating solutions to enhance an agent’s brand and unique identity to the market.

“Collaborating with agents and agencies to create technology solutions that genuinely benefit their businesses is crucial,” she said.

“By working together to understand their needs, we can deliver tools that enhance their productivity and profitability while reinforcing their brand and market presence.”

CoreLogic’s suite of solutions includes lead generation, nurturing, and digital advertising, all designed to operate within each agency’s brand. 

The tools are underpinned by research platform, RP Data.

“We recognise the significant investment and resources that an agency makes in building their market identity to list and sell properties, attract and retain talent and manage a rent roll,” Mr Symons said.

Ms Edwards said CoreLogic’s solutions were also designed to drive traffic to an agency’s website and integrate seamlessly with their CRMs.

“We aim to facilitate the expansion and engagement of their own customer databases and to support them in building a prosperous digital ecosystem,” Ms Edwards said.

Mr Symons said as technology and the real estate industry continued to evolve, Core Logic was committed to delivering innovative, agent-centric solutions to help them excel in the digital age.
