Seed Your Future has announced that it has hit its year-end goal to raise $20,000 for its 2025 programs.
“Horticulturists play a crucial role in our society, from ensuring our food is safe and nutritious to preserving native habitats and combating climate change,” says Jazmin Albarran, Executive Director of Seed Your Future, expressing its thanks. “Despite the significance of this work, only 61% of horticulture jobs are filled annually. Barriers such as a lack of industry awareness and skill gaps among jobseekers hinder the growth of this vital field.”
